the why's below help explain as well.

1) Student-centric (innovative/passion fed) courses
ie:music composition, japanese, number theory, physics of sound, .. etc...[Similar to scenario in disrupting class, classes not currently offered/invented in our district, guided by expert individual tutors and supported by personal learning networks. For some students - their passion is "boxed" content... so for math, they could make/house tutorials.]

2) Course developing student tech experts for hybrid classrooms. These students would become interns for hybrid teachers.
ie: Internet Safety, Skype, Promethean, Mobile phone, Twitter –for research, Google Docs – for working document, Wetpaint –for worksites, Glogster – for global collaborations, Yahoo Piping and other feeds – for collecting info, Drop.io – for converting doc to link, ...

3) Course developing student media experts for *the new library . These students would become interns for the hybrid library staff.*visions of the new library: A resource house for research/connections/creations - a - digital-media center.
  • why
  • research
  • examples
  • assessment
  • roles

4) Course developing student marketing experts to educate the public on these *new practices & changes in school. These Students would design an advertising campaign to educate the community about the need for change in public education.
ie: refrigerator worthy assimilate a kid coming home with a test or finished project and mom/dad like it so much it goes on the fridge.
